The Culture of “Cross-Training

During the peak season when the house is full, the strongest teams are the ones who can step in and help each other.

  • Multi-Skilling: Train service staff on basic table settings, or teach Front Office staff how to confidently recommend menu highlights.

  • Support System: Build a culture where “helping your teammates is everyone’s responsibility.” When one department is overwhelmed, others should jump in to support immediately without waiting for an order.
